
We are pleased to announce very good results regarding the satisfaction of our clients from the diaspora who open an account through the BT Pay application. The Net Promoter Score (NPS) for this experience is 86 (out of 100), one of the highest recorded in the BT study on its clients' satisfaction in 2025 and the first months of 2026.
Profile of customers from the diaspora, according to the study:
- They are very autonomous in digital interaction with Banca Transilvania.
- Use or intend to use the BT account for receiving recurrent income from Romania (salary, pension, scholarship, allowance), occasional income, savings, investments, testing BT solutions, and maintaining financial connection with Romania.
- They opted for the application mainly due to recommendations (almost 50%), information found online (on the BT website, on social media, and in searches using artificial intelligence – approximately 45%), as well as due to interactions with our colleagues from Romania, Italy, and the Republic of Moldova, where the Banca Transilvania Group has a physical presence.
Through BT Pay, money can be managed easily, anytime and from anywhere in the world
BT Pay helps Romanians manage their money anytime and from anywhere, as well as stay financially connected with family and friends in Romania. BT Pay replaces the trip to the bank for people who wish to become clients of Banca Transilvania. New clients have immediate access to all the application's functionalities and instantly receive, in the application, the digital debit card and, subsequently, the physical card at one of the bank's branches or at the desired address. The card can be topped up either via IBAN transfer or through a card from another bank, added in BT Pay. The application can be downloaded from Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
Where do most of the new BT Pay clients live
10% of the bank's new clients who open an account through the BT Pay application live or study abroad, most of them being in the United Kingdom, Moldova, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
