If you use the BT Pay application, we have news that brings the energy of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games directly to your phone. Two of the BT Visa digital debit cards – in lei and euro – now have a design inspired by the most watched sporting event of these days.
Through thematic design, BT Pay brings you closer to the Olympic atmosphere, even if you are miles away. It's about spectacle, emotion, community, and the feeling of belonging to a global event.
How can you have the digital card with Olympic design
The cards are digital, generated in a few seconds directly from BT Pay. The steps are simple:
- Open the application and go to Add card → Virtual → Virtual Card.
- The card is issued instantly and can be used immediately for payments, transfers, currency exchange or online shopping, anywhere in the world.
- If you already have the BT Visa virtual card with the design of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it has been automatically updated to the new Milano-Cortina design.
- For the card in euros, the account is opened automatically, even if you did not previously have an account in this currency.
- Issuance and administration are free for both types of cards.

The Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games take place between February 6 and 22 and bring together over 3,500 athletes from 93 countries, competing for 195 medals in 16 Olympic disciplines.
